Innerstrength Health is a Dublin based company which develops digital tools to support patients.   The Innerstrength Health technology has been designed to facilitate health professionals in prescribing, delivering and monitoring personalised programmes of education and exercise for patients for an expanding range of conditions. The Innerstrength technology is currently deployed in both primary and secondary healthcare settings with it’s products, TickerFit and Hacka Health.

Innerstrength Health is currently seeking applicants for the role, Director of Business Development. 

The Director of Business Development will be primarily responsible for sourcing, developing and managing strategic alliances with key customers. Through collaboration with the team, you will be responsible for innovating, using your deep understanding of the healthcare industry, market, technology needs and expertise in customer requirements to extend Innerstrength Health’s value proposition to new customers, delivery strategic business proposals that drive the need for Innerstrength Health’s software.  You will collaborate with the technical development team, translating customer needs, mapping requirements, deliverables and schedules. 

What the job entails:

  • Develop new strategic alliances to expand and drive market penetration

  • Identify key stakeholders within target customers, becoming familiar with customer objectives, aligning Innerstrength Health’s capabilities where mutually beneficial

  • Leading sales proposal process for target customers and negotiating contracts

  • Innovate using your deep understanding of the healthcare/digital health market

  • Collaborate with technical development team on customer requirements, deliverables and priorities

  • Act as primary contact for Innerstrength Health with clients and continue to identify opportunities to expand the relationships with existing customers

  • Assist Chief Technology Officer define business requirements and product priorities

  • Support product demonstrations and represent Innerstrength Health at trade shows and industry events

  • Travel as required

Experience Required

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field of study

  • Extensive knowledge of digital health, healthcare and pharma industry

  • Experience developing new and existing customer/partner relationships, delivering strategic proposals

  • 1+ year knowledge of cloud based software platforms

  • Experience developing new and existing customer/partner relationships, delivering strategic proposals and negotiating contracts

  • Strong sales and account management experience

  • Evidence of success in new business development in healthcare or similar field

  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent organisational, communication and written/oral presentation skills

  • Having existing relationships in healthcare industry desirable

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Fluent English

  • Travel
